I just wrapped up a photo shoot with Owen this morning and it was so much fun! He is positively adorable — I mean, look at those eyelashes! More to come later.

Healing Haiti with Hearts for Water
Tomorrow night I have the opportunity to photograph a local charity event Healing Haiti with Hearts for Water hosted by SURGE. My friend Shaina volunteered to photograph and she invited me to shoot with her. This event sounds awesome — held at the Graves 601 Hotel in Minneapolis with complimentary whisky tastings — doesn’t get any better! All donations are used to purchase and deliver water purification filters to Haiti. Sounds like a wonderful event — so if you are in the Minneapolis area tomorrow night definitely come out in your best cocktail attire and enjoy a drink for a great cause!
Dawn & Mike Engagement
On a cold but sunny January afternoon a few weeks ago I met Dawn, Mike, and Guavin at Como Park Zoo and Conservatory for their engagement shoot. It felt great to be surrounded by so much green in the warm conservatory! Dawn and Mike are getting married next October (on my birthday!) at The Woods Chapel in Orono, Minnesota — which looks like an absolutely beautiful setting. I am looking forward to their wedding and celebrating my birthday quietly :) knowing that I am doing something I love!
