Irvine Park – Beth & Matt’s Wedding

I loved Matt and Beth’s wedding!  They are just the coolest couple — so genuine and fun. After getting to know them better during our engagement session in July I was really looking forward to shooting their wedding!

An evening wedding at Irvine Park in St. Paul with just their closest friends and family was the most beautiful setting. The weather cooperated and was just perfect. After the ceremony it was off to Bon Vie on Selby Avenue to celebrate with some seriously delicious food, the best macaron cookies I have ever tasted, and dancing!

Congratulations to Beth and Matt!

Scott Miller, Beth’s sylist and owner of Scott Miller Studios, is where Beth got ready. She invited her Grandparents and parents to be there with her. The pearl necklace was her Grandmother’s — whose in-laws gave her the necklace as an engagement present when she got engaged to her grandfather.

Beth’s Grandmother and Great-Grandmother helped her get the dress on and make sure everything was perfect.

This sequence of their first look is so fun! Matt’s face is priceless!

Always having FUN!

Matt, an Art Director, designed the wedding invitations. They were letterpress printed at Zeichen Press.

Family and friends travled from Kansas, California, Oregon, Montana, and Utah to celebrate with Matt and Beth.

This is Selby Avenue in St. Paul at dusk and I think it is beautiful. Bon Vie is off to the right and was such a great setting for their reception.

The little pots filled with favor cookies were made by John Kraus at Patisserie 46. They were macarons, the French version of our coconut macaroon. They had two flavors, caramel and chocolate, with an earl grey tea and marmalade center. These cookies were amazing! So delicious!
