It was a good mix of the bold architecture, colors, lighting, silhouettes, and a pretty amazing couple! Matt and Beth are so much fun — they don’t take themselves too seriously and really just love to laugh.

The Guthrie lets photographers use the space with really no limitations — no permits or red tape to get around. Which is awesome! We explored and just played around — and because there was no show on the day of our shoot it felt like we had the place to ourselves.

Here are some of my favorites of Matt and Beth. I can’t wait for their wedding in August!

OMG, this amber room is incredible. The light is so intense and the view is amazing!

Paige is a brilliant photographer and it was awesome to work with her again and see her in action!  Both the ceremony and reception were at the Soap Factory in Minneapolis, which I had never been to before.  It was a very cool venue and definitely a place I would like to visit again.  The weather was a perfect September afternoon and the couple was absolutely lovely.  Here are some of my favorites that I took at Kathryn and Matthew’s wedding for DeWees Photography.
