Withrow Ballroom – Anna & Ted’s Wedding

Anna and Ted are such a charming couple and their wedding was equally full of charming style! Incredible countryside backdrops, majestic pine trees, and humble soybean fields — all made the day so fun to photograph! We started at Anna’s parents’ house and the tall pine trees made for a pretty incredible first look backdrop. We then headed over to Withrow Ballroom with the family and wedding party. I was definitely impressed when the wedding party was up for wandering into the soybean fields for a few shots — what great friends!

After their outdoor ceremony at Christ Lutheran Church in Marine on St. Croix, the entire wedding party jumped on the Trolley to head over to the reception at the Withrow Ballroom. It was the perfect ride through the countryside.

The attention to detail throughout the day was impressive — Anna and Ted didn’t miss a beat. There was a constant thread of rustic chic, woodsy charm, and playful hearts and arrows pulling everything together. There were many DIY projects, for example, using vintage plates Anna made all the tiered cupcake stands for the dessert table, along with the paper heart wedding program fans, and the guest place cards with wine cork stands. Their ridiculously cute invitation template was found on Printable Press and then printed at a local shop in Charlottesville. The burlap hand painted banners were found on Esty at Celebrate With Fun, and the guestbook, wooden hearts, wedding sign, and birch bark flower cones were made by Bragging Bags on Etsy.

It was such a pleasure to spend the day celebrating with you both – Congratulations Anna and Ted!
